dance or get out of the way

- Boss, do you dance?
- Dance? No!
- Then get out of the way...

- Damn it boss, I like you too much not to say it:
you've got everything except one thing,
madness. A man needs a little madness or else ...
- or else?
- he never dares cut the rope.
...

- Teach me to dance! Will you?
- Dance? Did you say dance?
- Come on my boy!

empty boat

If a man is crossing a river and an empty boat collides with his own skiff,
even though he be a bad-tempered man he will not become very angry.
But if he sees a man in the boat, he will shout at him to steer clear.
If the shout is not heard, he will shout again, and yet again, and begin cursing.
And all because there is somebody in the boat.
Yet if the boat were empty, he would not be shouting, and not angry.

If you can empty your own boat crossing the river of the world,
no one will oppose you, no one will seek to harm you...

Walk the earth

Jules: ...then, basically, I'm just going to walk the earth.
Vincent: What'cha mean, "walk the earth"?
Jules: You know, like Caine in Kung Fu, walk from place to place, meet people, get into adventures.
Vincent: And how long do you intend to walk the earth?
Jules: Until God puts me where he wants me to be.
Vincent: And what if he don't do that?
Jules: If it takes forever, then I'll walk forever.
Vincent: So you decided to be a bum?
Jules: I'll just be Jules, Vincent – no more, no less.
