the journey

The existence, the physical universe is basically playful. There is no necessity for it whatsoever. It isn’t going anywhere. That is to say, it doesn’t have some destination that it ought to arrive at.

But that it is best understood by the analogy with music. Because music, as an art form is essentially playful. We say, “You play the piano” You don’t work the piano.

Why? Music differs from say, travel. When you travel you are trying to get somewhere. In music, though, one doesn’t make the end of the composition. The point of the composition. If that were so, the best conductors would be those who played fastest. And there would be composers who only wrote finales. People would go to a concert just to hear one crackling chord… Because that’s the end!

Same way with dancing. You don’t aim at a particular spot in the room because that’s where you will arrive. The whole point of the dancing is the dance.

But we don’t see that as something brought by our education into our conduct. We have a system of schooling which gives a completely different impression. It’s all graded and what we do is put the child into the corridor of this grade system with a kind of, “Come on kitty, kitty.” And you go onto kindergarten and that’s a great thing because when you finish that you get into first grade. Then, “Come on” first grade leads to second grade and so on. And then you get out of grade school and you got high school. It’s revving up, the thing is coming, then you’re going to go to college… Then you’ve got graduate school, and when you’re through with graduate school you go out to join the world.

Then you get into some racket where you’re selling insurance. And they’ve got that quota to make, and you’re gonna make that. And all the time that thing is coming – It’s coming, it’s coming, that great thing. The success you’re working for.

Then you wake up one day about 40 years old and you say, “My God, I’ve arrived. I’m there.” And you don’t feel very different from what you’ve always felt.

Look at the people who live to retire; to put those savings away. And then when they’re 65 they don’t have any energy left. They’re more or less impotent. And they go and rot in some, old peoples, senior citizens community. Because we simply cheated ourselves the whole way down the line.

If we thought of life by analogy with a journey, with a pilgrimage, which had a serious purpose at that end, and the thing was to get to that thing at that end. Success, or whatever it is, or maybe heaven after you’re dead.

But we missed the point the whole way along.

It was a musical thing, and you were supposed to sing or to dance while the music was being played.

Looking back it was a journey to ascend to the next level through dance or say theatre. Society at any moment is a mysterious way, like AI machine to sqeeze out of anything authentic no matter how revolutionary, how heroic, how genious a norm of living, giving the impression of reflecting the whole meaning of life in this battle of the opposites. Society is an AI as our intelligence is something artificial, means creative abstract reasoning apparatus on the top of reality that selects arbitrary points out of the life's paintings in order to draw some lines and distinct one, two, three, one million, billion shapes and thus value them, creating comparison and competition, just as our mind does. This is the job of society, formed and created by our subconscious ways, to keep itself alive by submitting fairy tales and myths, gods and demons in order to entertain an audience and virtually create membership and to collect a fee. There is nothing bad to it, as there is nothing bad to go to school, get an education and become an actor in a tv series or a state theatre. This is a way that life after becoming humanized creates roads and walls, manifactures buildings, something artificial so that we need all our awareness all our skills, all our energies to climb up to some high point in order to see the vast horizon of not yet come into being. The meeting line of an amorphous sky and a fluid world of forms and dynamics down on earth, under our feet. So, one might as well say that on the top of all these revealing truths that make us depressive and ready to resign the moment we realize how vain is to try to fix society, if we go a little further, we find out that society might as well be the most suitable play yard in order to realize our nature, to develop more or less safely our skills and by keeping in the back of our mind that life itself is immortal and immoral, we can go out and regain the joy of being carefree creators, dancers, players, authors of our own imagination. This is the point we join the world, we appreciate the world, being at the same time connected we the indifferent playful universe of emergence...

Moon

During times of transition, inside and outside, shadows pile up and it's hard to keep the light in our consciousness. What we identify with in our lives is in question. The more we panic, the more we threaten to flood from our shadow powers. We tend to take refuge in intoxicants and addictions or distractions to distract us from the threatening unknown impulses inside us. If we numb ourselves and refuse to take the necessary steps, we run the risk of evoking blind, unconscious psychic powers, attracting/creating unwanted events. To remain calm and aware is required without cutting off from the outside.
The moon symbolizes the high energetic potential of soul's development and a warning against numbness in phases of transformation. We receive a call for increased awareness and unerring honesty. Changes that go along with it are related with internal processes due to choices we made and to which we have remained faithful, and are part of our development. The transition is at times painful because old slags of fixation and toxic deposits of negativity dissolve in us, leading to temporary turbulence such as disturbances, crises, and contractions. Our trust in intuition and inner guidance has prepared the path of transformation and renewal.

The Holy Grail

The Holy Grail symbolizes the access to the divine in us and challenges us to focus on and rely on our intuition which is close to the Holy Spirit. The first thought that we spontaneously get for something or for someone speaks the language of the soul. Every other thought springs from our conditioned mind. Where our heart leads us, valuable experiences await us. People we meet with joy and openness are part of our path of development. We thus create a context of encounter in a fruitful environment for an easier, faster and more joyful development than being on our own.
We must be aware that the longing for like-minded people or a family of choice, can urge us to join instead a closed group or sect. Rigid norms, rigid constraints and prescribed behaviors can help us temporarily, but are like crutches or prostheses that compensate for a physical defect. They block our autonomy and independence, which we need for holistic healing and development. Where subordination and obedience are demanded, the highest vigilance is required.

Immortality

Neither a person nor a nation can exist without some higher idea. And there is only one higher idea on earth, and it is the idea of the immortality of the human soul, for all other "higher" ideas of life by which humans might live derive from that idea alone.

Immortality gives birth to joy. Joy gives birth to honesty. Honesty to creativity. Creativity gave birth to conditions and forms. Reason is the drawing on the plane of forms.
Human is a fall from immortality to the world of forms that creates desire for joy in the prison of reason. One must somehow find back out of reason first to honesty and joy before one feels free to give in to one's honest desire for creativity.

fear is lack of self-knowledge

Fear of freedom is equaly fear of self-responsibility because it is widespread to blame someone for our discomfort. The reason is always lack of self-confidence, as a result of lack of self-knowledge. Those who do not trust themselves, can not rely on themselves, pay as a price a deep sense of non-lived life, a nagging restlessness and sadness that can increase to periods of severe depression and illness. If we do not follow the call of the heart - our inner voice - out of fear, if we turn back the offers of life out of cowardice, then we cut ourselves off from our true nature and thus from our liveliness. If we do not listen to the voice of our heart and follow it, it will become more and more timid and quieter and life's offers will gradually disappear.

Our own protective force occurs when we have defeated the dragon of fear. We realize that there is no reason to be afraid of something because fear is an illusion. Our fears are powerful, but we have the opportunity to protect ourselves by turning to our inner power and being protected by it. It is our life energy to which we can entrust ourselves by visualizing lovingly the contact with it. One of the main fears we have to overcome is the fear of death and, accordingly, of material loss. If we believe that death or loss is the dreaded end or the way to hell, then all efforts to trust life become in vain. But if we believe that death is a homecoming, that by loss we get rid of load, then death or loss is no longer a tragic end, but a benevolent transformation of our reality - accordingly a journey home.

strategic decisions

-Your excellency, we need to talk.
You don't want me down here. If you give me the power to make strategic decisions, you wouldn't have liked them.
-Why wouldn't we? We very much trust your abilities, Baron.
-I suggest we surrender!
-Huh, what arrogances! What a pompous child you are!

-I was victor in 63 aerial battles. You know how I did it? When I faced a battle I couldn't win, I flew away.
-What makes you think we cannot win this war, Baron?
-What about our boys? Our holy cause? Our soldiers out in the field? You want to give all our efforts to the enemy, von Richthofen?
-...French, great cigarettes! What makes us think our causes is better than the French, or the British and the Americans? It isn't! It's not even difference from theirs. We just need an excuse for what we do because without it we would see who we really are.
