Zusammenfliessen von Strömen

Unser kreativer Geist erschafft mit unseren Emotionen die Welt in der wir leben aus den potentiellen Welten unserer Wahrnehmung.

not my business, human beings are like that

I'm sorry but I don't want to be an emperor.
That's not my business.
I don't want to rule or conquer anyone.
I should like to help everyone:
Jew, gentile, black man, white.
We all want to help one another.
Human beings are like that.
We want to live by each other's happiness, not misery.
We don't want to hate one another.
In this world, the good earth is rich and can provide for everyone.
The way of life can be free and beautiful but we have lost the way.
Greed has poisoned men's souls, has barricaded the world with hate, has goose-stepped us into bloodshed.
We have developed speed but have shut ourselves in.
Machinery has left us in want.
Our knowledge has made us cynical, our cleverness, hard and unkind.
We think too much and feel too little.
More than machinery we need humanity.
More than cleverness we need kindness and gentleness.
Without these qualities, life will be violent and all will be lost...
The aeroplane and radio have brought us closer.
These inventions cry out for the goodness in man, cry out for universal brotherhood, for the unity of us all.
Even now my voice is reaching millions, millions of despairing men, women and children, victims of a system that makes men torture and imprison innocent people.
To those who can hear me I say, do not despair.
The misery upon us is but the passing of greed, the bitterness of men who fear the way of human progress.
The hate of men will pass, and dictators die, and the power they took will return to the people.
So long as men die liberty will never perish.
Soldiers, don't give yourselves to brutes, men who despise you, enslave you, regiment your lives, tell you what to think and feel, who drill you, treat you like cattle and use you as cannon fodder.
Don't give yourselves to these men, machine men with machine minds and machine hearts.
You are not machines, you are not cattle, you are men!
You have the love of humanity in you.
Don't hate.
Only the unloved and the unnatural hate.
Soldiers, don't fight for slavery, fight for liberty!
St Luke says, "The Kingdom of God is within man."
Not in one man nor a group of men, but in all men.
In you!
You have the power to create machines, the power to create happiness.
You have the power to make this life free and beautiful, to make this life a wonderful adventure.

In the name of democracy, let us use that power.

the knowable core

Dr. Zimsky: For here in the great infinite unknowable man can come to know the most important thing of all; himself.
He can understand...

What the fuck am I doing?

Pantopia meets martial arts: The Art of Peace

Y: What could have been the alternative to the slaughter of Ulysses on his return in order to bring back balance?

Mahatma Gandhi: Non-violent refusal to cooperate with injustice is the way to defeat it. You see, we must not hate the British, for they have not taken India from us. We have given it to them.

César E. Chávez: I perfectly agree with Mr. Gandhi. Furthermore non-violence is not inaction. It is not discussion. It is not for the timid or weak. Non-violence is hard work. It is the willingness to sacrifice. It is the patience to win.

Y: It probably takes a lot of conciousness and deep understanding of realities to be able to deal with severe situations.

to make this work, you've gotta be more than

- Mr. Incredible... do you have a secret identity?
Y: Every superhero has a secret identity. I don't know a single one who doesn't. Who wants the pressure of being super all the time?
X: Of course I have a secret identity. Can you see me in this at the supermarket? Come on. Who'd want to go shopping as Elastigirl, know what I mean?
...

- Robert Parr, will you have this woman to be your lawful wedded wife?

X: You're late. When you asked if I was doing anything later, I didn't realize you'd forgotten. I thought it was playful banter.
Y: It was.
X: Cutting it close, don't you think?
Y: You need to be more... flexible.
X: I love you, but if we're gonna make this work, you've gotta be more than Mr. Incredible. You know that. Don't you?
- ...so long as you both shall live?
Y: I do.

- I pronounce this couple husband and wife.

X: As long as we both shall live. No matter what happens.
Y: Hey, come on. We're superheroes. What could happen?

In a stunning turn of events, a superhero is being sued for saving someone who, apparently, didn't want to be saved. The plaintiff, Oliver Sansweet, who was foiled in his attempted suicide by Mr. Incredible, has filed suit against the famed superhero in Superior Court.
- Mr. Sansweet didn't ask to be saved. He didn't want to be saved. The injury received from Mr. Incredible's "actions", ...causes him daily pain.
Y: I saved your life!
- You didn't save my life! You ruined my death.
- My client has no comment.

Another suit was filed by victims of the el train accident. Incredible's court losses cost the government millions. And opened the flood gates for dozens of superhero lawsuits the world over.
- It is time for their secret identity to become their only identity. Time for them to join us, or go away.

Under public pressure, and the financial burden of an ever mounting series of lawsuits, the government quietly initiated the superhero relocation program. The supers were granted amnesty from responsibility for past actions, in exchange for the promise to never again resume hero work.
Where are they now?
They are living among us.
Average citizens, average heroes.
Quietly and anonymously continuing to make the world a better place.

um 180° denken, dann wird's richtig

...muss net, was in den Büchern so genau erklärt wird, nachbeten, sondern selber denken und zwar in die andere Richtung. Was in der Technik ist, musst nur um 180 Grad anders denken, dann wird's richtig.

better impermanence than finality

Sometimes the house of the future is better built, lighter and larger than all the houses of the past, so that the image of the dream house is opposed to that of the childhood home…. Maybe it is a good thing for us to keep a few dreams of a house that we shall live in later, always later, so much later, in fact, that we shall not have time to achieve it. For a house that was final, one that stood in symmetrical relation to the house we were born in, would lead to thoughts — serious, sad thoughts — and not to dreams. It is better to live in a state of impermanence than in one of finality.

none of these have yet occurred, but they may

I have lived three hundred years, and I long to die.
But death is no longer possible.
I am immortal.

I present now my story, full of mystery and intrigue;
rich in irony, and most satirical.
It is set deep in a possible future, so none of these events have yet occurred, but they may. Be warned, lest you end as I. In this tale, I am a fake god by occupation and a magician, by inclination. Merlin is my hero! I am the puppet master. I manipulate many of the characters and events you will see. But I am invented, too, for your entertainment and amusement.
And you, poor creatures, who conjured you out of the clay? Is God in show business too?

Imagine what you'll know tomorrow

- Humans, for the most part, don't have a clue. Don't want or need one. They're happy. They think they have a good bead on things.
- Why the big secret? People are smart. They can handle it.
- A person is smart. People are dumb, panicky, dangerous animals. You know it. Fifteen hundred years ago, everybody 'knew' the Earth was the center of the universe. Five hundred years ago, everybody 'knew' the Earth was flat. And fifteen minutes ago, you 'knew' that people were alone on this planet. Imagine what you'll 'know' tomorrow.
